The Brief/Purpose

Main purpose of brief under an NDA

Part of a larger identity piece (seen here), this film sits alongside an internal identity.

This was all about creating an identity to sit alongside the customer facing, prestigious Versace brand. It needed to reflect the same values, same personality, and appeal to all people involved with Versace internally.

My Role

Creative Director/Design Lead [Hands On]

Tasks: Ideation; Quality Assurance; Team Management; Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop/Powerpoint work.

Outputs

My role was to oversee the project, help/advise when necessary, and also get hands on in creating the designs when needed. The most senior member of the team, Ekaterina, had a huge interest in fashion so was the perfect choice to lead the design. She was a superstar, coming up with a superb idea and then executing it to a high level. The identity was inspired by the colosseum, with a blue and gold colour scheme, inspired by the sky and stone.

As mentioned, much of this brief and materials are under NDAs, however there was a vast amount of material produced with a quick turnaround.
